Yorkshire Basketball League

The League for the 2006-07 will be made up of the following teams Bradford Dragons, Doncaster Eagles, Rawthorpe Cobras, Scarborough Seahawks and finally Bradford Maroons.

Unfortunately for the league Menwith Hill Cavaliers cannot commit to the league this season and Harrogate Raiders are also struggling to commit YBL for a second season.

The league for 2005-06 was made up of eight clubs from across the Yorkshire region.
The teams were as follows Bradford Dragons, City of Sheffield Arrows, Doncaster Eagles
Huddersfield Heat, Menwith Hill Cavaliers, Rawthorpe Cobras, Scarborough Seahawks and finally Mandela.
However on the 22nd December 2005 Huddersfield Heat decided to with draw from the Yorkshire Baskeball League due to financial reasons.


Latest News

For the 2006-07 season the YBL have decided to run an invitational cup.
This has been called the 3 Counties Invitation Cup, the 3 counties involved are Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Twelve clubs have entered the competion and they have been split into the Northern and Southern conferences

The YBL Cup and Plate Finals 2005-06 took place at Doncaster Deaf College on Sunday 1st October 2006
