The Game was held at Doncaster Deaf College tip off time was 2030. The game began with neither team scoring very many points. Although numerous shots being taken at both ends of the court, after 7 mins the score was 7 - 6 to Abbeydale. By the end of the 1st quarter both teams had only just got into double figures and Lincoln went ahead by 1point 14 - 13.
The start of the 2nd quarter saw Lincoln extend the lead to 25 - 13 after 4 mins, Abbeydale however then went on a 10 - 0 run to bring the game back to within 2 points. The final couple of minutes in the quarter saw both teams scoring 7 points each with Lincoln going into the half time with a 2 point lead 32 - 30.
The start of the 3rd quarter saw Lincoln extending the lead to 34 after # 13 got fouled twice going to the basket. Abbeydale then replied with 5 points to take the lead for the first time in the game after 5 mins. The next 5 mins saw Lincoln extend the lead with a 15 - 10 run, at the end of the 3rd quarter Lincoln lead by 6 points 51 - 45.
The 4th quarter once again saw Lincoln extend the lead with a 14 - 5 run, at the end of 7 mins Lincoln lead 65 - 50, leaving Abbeydale to play catch up. The last few minutes of the game saw Abbeydale desperately trying to stop Lincoln bring the ball down courtand in fact out shot Lincoln with 4 three pointers giving them 12 - 7 run. All was in vain though as Lincoln won by 10 points.
The final score was Abbeydale 62 v Lincoln 72
